A point of return
through the womb of life
backwards
from where you came.
This huge inhale
is sucking all the life from you.
Your eyes become a little slit
loosing slowly their colorful abundance
before they close.
Your body becomes a heavy mass
bending itself
into an atom.
Everything is slipping
un-a-void-ably
into a black hole.
You become so insignificant
just a fading shadow.
Even silence and darkness
seem to be a refugee
before the jaw
of hungry crater.
There is a movement
to gasp for air
but you realize
you are too deep
under the water.
No resistance maters anymore.
It’s too late.
It’s too deep.
You relax
and free fall …
… into the abyss
of annihilation.
